Who we are:
Mount Florida Community Council is a formally constituted group of residents of The Mount, who have a genuine interest in the well-being of their community. The main role of the Community Council is to represent the local community to the local authority and other bodies. The community council consults the local community and makes the views of local people on matters affecting them known to the local authority and other bodies. Anyone resident in Mount Florida can become a community councillor, or attend meetings of the community council as a resident. Community Councillors are volunteers who care about their local community and can bring concerns and issues to the attention of decision makers in the local authority and government.

This website aims to provide comprehensive information on everything relating to Mount Florida, inform about the activities of Mount Florida Community Council, as well as provide an opportunity for residents to contribute to Mount Florida Community Council and Mount Florida in general.
